Professional Members - $50.00 annual dues
Additional member, same association ($25.00)
Persons who devote fifty (50) percent or more of their compensated working time to the management of (1) voluntary trade, professional, technical, educational, philanthropic, or business associations or societies, or (2) chambers of commerce (including convention and visitors bureaus), or (3) who are on such management staffs in an executive capacity, shall be eligible for Professional membership in NSAE. Applicants for Professional membership must have at least one (1) year experience as an association executive.

Professional members may vote and hold office. Persons or executives of organizations which negotiate wages or working conditions on behalf of employees shall not be eligible for membership in NSAE

Affiliate Members - $35.00 annual dues
Persons who devote fifty (50) percent or less of their compensated working time to the management of voluntary trade, professional, technical, educational, or business associations or societies, shall be eligible for Affiliate membership in NSAE.

Affiliate membership in NSAE shall also be available to educators, government officials, or executives or agencies who derive fifty (50) percent or more of their income from public funds and who are engaged full time in activities related to association management.

Affiliate members may serve on all NSAE committees except the By-Laws and Nominating Committees, but they may neither vote nor hold elective or appointive office in NSAE.

Associate Members - $100.00 annual dues
Those firms or entities (suppliers) whose products or services are related or allied to the field of association management, e.g.,
1 - all travel and hotel organizations or representatives;
2 - professional printers, photographers, talent agencies, public relations counselors
     and executive consultants;
3 - trade journals, entertainment centers, and show decorating and drayage firms;
4 - equipment sales and rentals, and car rental agencies
shall be eligible to hold Associate membership in NSAE.

The NSAE Associate membership shall be in the entity's name and shall not be in the name of the individual. There shall be only one representative to NSAE from the membership firm; and that person may neither vote nor hold elective in the Society. An Associate Representative shall be appointed by the President, with the approval of the Board of Directors, to serve a one-year term as a non-voting member of the Board. Associate membership representatives may serve on all NSAE committees except the By-Laws and Nominating Committees.

Emeritus Members - $25.00 annual dues
Any retired member who previously qualified as a professional member of NSAE.
